Online Front Porch Chatter

Thanks to the 157 guests who took the time to fill out the first ever online Capon survey.  We appreciate your feedback about our revised Spring mailing and ways to continue our word of mouth tradition.  Look for more surveys in the future to gather your thoughts about all things Capon!

Dana Woodard, a college student from Centreville, VA, who has come to Capon every year since age 3, wrote:

“Capon Springs is so much fun. I’ve been coming here for 15 years now and I someday want to bring my kids here. The people here are fabulous and I love the families that are here the same week I am. Most of the kids and adults all talk through Facebook or through email. I can’t wait for Capon next year!”

porch chatterThrough conversations those connections are made. Conversations -- whether on the front porch, lounging at the pool, playing golf or sitting together over a meal -- bring people together. Maybe meeting for the first time, renewing friendships begun other years, or extended families reconnecting after a year or two apart, our guests love to spend time “visiting” with each other!

Weekly through the summer months (and monthly in the spring and fall), we publish The Capon Weekly as a way to record some of the newsy stuff gathered from a week of “visiting”. One of our guests’ favorite segments in our in-house newsletter, “Front Porch Chatter” is full of those stories—just what you might hear sitting on one of Capon’s front porches!

Click here to read past Capon Weekly newsletters or catch up with our Previous Seasons’ News page.

Continue those conversations you started on Capon’s front porch. Meet us on our Facebook page. Join us for a chat about how we can make your Capon stays even more enjoyable. Find out what is happening when you aren’t here!

Connect with guests from other weeks during Capon’s season. Visit any of the several groups started and run by Capon guests. Just type Capon in the search feature of Facebook and decide which group fits you best.
