Kind words from kind friends- that’s what keeps Capon going from generation to generation. We are continually humbled by the praise our guests give us each year. Sometimes it is in the form of a thank you note or email after their stay. Others use the feedback form in their room to share what they like most about Capon. Those guests who spend time in our library, find the Impressions Books a great place to express their thoughts and appreciation. And now with the advent of social networking sites like Facebook, guests even have a place when they are not here to share their heartfelt words.

Pam Tinker, a first time guest from Alexandria, VA, who brought her extended family to Capon for a weekend in May
“I am sure you could tell we all had a great time. The part you don’t know is the healing that was happening. Once they all gathered in your healing, caring atmosphere, they began to tell stories and laugh and come alive again. It was great to watch.”
Jane Peak, a regular guest from McLean, VA, who for 15 years came with her church group and then brought her family for the first time to celebrate a big family event in 2009
“What dear folks you all are! You outdid yourselves to make our 65th wedding anniversary so special and so delightful. One grandson ran up and down the mountain, one played golf, several collected fossils, three of us had massages and reflexology, but most of us were content to sit on the porch and talk.”
