MAY 13-16 & SEPT. 23-26
Watercolor Painting: with Fran Call
Unlock your creative potential! Artists of every ability will find they can capture the natural beauty of Capon on canvas, creating a special memory to take home with them. Beginners, intermediate and advanced painters will paint together in one combined all inclusive class.  There is no charge for the class but participants must bring their own supplies or purchase them on site.

JUNE 3-6 & SEPT. 18-20*
History with Capon Family members
Join us as we commemorate 80 years of Austin Family stewardship of Capon water, land, resort operation and relationships.  Slide shows, tours and presentations will open the secrets of Capon's eight decades of 4 generation.  During the Spring event, experience the "Taking of the Waters", speeches from historical figures, carriage rides and a Victorian Ball. 
*The September session will run Tuesday to Friday instead of the usual Sunday to Wednesday schedule

Play Bridge: with Jim Allen
Have fun and improve your bridge game with expert instruction! Former Washington Bridge Club President Jim Allen presents his popular five stratified sessions with awards and partners guaranteed. Convention card hints provided. Private lessons available first come, first served!

SEPT. 30 - OCT. 2
Quilting with Isobel Meekins:
After the fun they had in 2010 & 2011, this group of dedicated seamstresses return to work on individual and collective projects.   Join in on the fun with what you are currently working on or try an instructor-led project.   

OCTOBER 22-24 DANCING with YOU as the STARS   The dozen couples who participated in 2010 & 2011 are excited about coming back and bringing friends!  So if you are looking to learn some basic dance steps, want to brush up on your technique, or just enjoy dancing, this special event is for you!  Join in daily lessons and evening dance parties with professional demonstrations.  All at no extra cost to you!!   If you come Sunday night, you can play “Super-Bingo” and win extraordinary prizes, like a free night’s stay!  Here is a chance to make new Capon friends while you learn or work on some new dance moves like the Salsa, Single Step Swing and Rumba.

Halloween:
Celebrate Halloween weekend in 2012 with three days of festivities and then return home to enjoy your own neighborhood treats!  This time, we are shooting for NO snow, by YES Alma!
