Planning for your Capon getaway is simple!  Our all-inclusive per-person rates cover lodging, three all-you-can-eat meals per day (and snacks too!), and a wide variety of programs and activities for guests of all ages. In, 2023, prices for adults ranged from $114/night to $207/night. There is no charge for children under the age of 5, and prices for older children range from $46/night to $101/night.

What truly makes Capon Springs different from other resorts are all the “extras” that you just won’t find anywhere else. Operated by multiple generations of the same family, you are welcomed into a warm and caring atmosphere where everything is based on the honor system.   The set-menu and meal times mean all you have to do is show up when the bell rings!

We make your reservation experience personal.  Since there are no “cookie-cutter” rooms, we take the time to find out what location would work best for your perfect vacation.  We look forward to having you with us anytime during the Capon Springs’ resort season, which begins in early May and runs through the beginning of November.

The 2024 Season runs May 2 through Nov 9 Summer openings

Welcome to the Capon Ambassador Program!

To get started, check out the three general ways and suggestions below for participating and then fill out of the form at the bottom with your contact info and ideas for sharing.   You are welcome to participate in as many ways as you feel  inspired to do!   Once you complete the form you can get started.   Our goal is to have everyone try one of these ideas (or others you come up with) by May 31.

Like the resort experience itself, this process will be completely on the honor system.  Good luck, have fun and let’s see if we can give as many as need the Capon experience, the chance to do so.   Keep us posted on your success by emailing [email protected]

Searching for Group Leaders:
This task force will have the biggest impact by connecting us with groups that could visit Capon Springs during the week in Spring and Fall.  The ideal size group is 10-35, but if you find one for 100, that’s great, too!
How You Can Participate:
1. Refer a group leader- tell us who to contact
2. Introduce a group leader- you introduce a contact to us
3. Bring a group leader onsite- plan a day sampler by coming for a morning or afternoon tour and meal.
4. Be a group leader- take charge and bring your own group  Proven winner with guests bringing their bridge, painting, golf, church, business and a variety of other kinds of groups!

Spreading the Word Online:
For the digital savvy folks, this gives you the chance to share the Capon love via your social media channels and networks.   With the instant speed of the internet, who knows how far our reach together can go!
A Few of the Ways You Can Participate:
Social Sharing
1. Email: Forward a Capon email we send out to your friends list, or write one of your own.
2. Social Media: Like our Facebook and/or Instagram posts? Then, share, comment and tag!
3. Content: Send us some of your favorite photos and/or videos you have taken at Capon- when we use them, that gives you more to share!

Testimonials- telling your story to a wider audience
1. Listservs: Publish a digital testimonial on your neighborhood listserv.  This is the digital version of saying to those who live close to you: “Hey, if you are looking for a great getaway, Capon is the place!”  For a quick how to, click here.  Proven winner: one guest did last fall and 3 new families came!
2. Review: Write a Google or TripAdvisor review.
3. Guest blog: Write a web blog for Capon’s website- you can be a feature “guest of the month” in our regular e-newsletter sharing your Capon origin story.

Starting Conversations with Capon Gear:
One of the easiest ways to get a conversation started is to proudly display Capon Springs gear- such as T-shirts, hats, bags, mugs, water bottles, magnets and other Capon logoed items.  Having conversation cards handy to pass out can also help tell the story.  Let us know if you need any supplies (brochures, clothing, etc.) to help you spread the word.  [email protected]
How You Can Participate:
Wear or share Capon gear at work or other locations.  You might get to meet other Caponites in the process!
